Clinical pathology: This involves the analysis of body fluids, such as blood and urine, to diagnose various medical conditions, such as infections, metabolic disorders, and autoimmune diseases.

Blood banking and transfusion medicine: This involves the testing and preparation of blood products for transfusion to patients, ensuring that the blood products are compatible and safe.
